Biography

Catherine qualified as a solicitor in 1992 with city firm Alsop Wilkinson (now DLA Piper) and joined Morrisons as a partner in January 2015, having previously worked for UK200 firms Coffin Mew LLP and Barlow Robbins LLP. Catherine is a Solicitor-Advocate (Civil).

Catherine acts principally for corporate clients and entrepreneurs, dealing with high-value contract and tort claims; partnership disputes; and shareholder disputes. She also acts for Insolvency Practitioners in contentious insolvency claims (such as misfeasance claims and transfers at undervalue). Catherine has a particular interest in professional negligence actions, primarily against solicitors, accountants, surveyors and finance professionals and is a member of the PNLA and CLAN.

Catherine is something of an adrenaline junkie. She is a keen skier and horsewoman; and has been white-water rafting on three continents.
