Biography
Jaron Dosanjh is a Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience (Civil). He leads the litigation team at LEXLAW with Christopher Snell (chancery barrister), across commercial, financial services, insolvency and tax disputes, with professional negligence a core strand of his practice.
He acts for individuals, office-holders and major corporates, both domestic and international, in high-value, technically demanding disputes. His professional negligence experience spans claims against solicitors, barristers, tax advisers, financial advisers, and architects, engineers and other construction professionals — including a claim against former solicitors whose failure to serve the claim form in time, which followed litigation reaching the Court of Appeal on the validity of service, gave rise to the negligence action.
Jaron graduated from Durham University with First Class Honours in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School with a Distinction, ranking first in his cohort. He was awarded Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) by The University of Law, Moorgate. He has had conduct of matters before the County Court, the High Court (Chancery, King's Bench and Commercial Court), the Court of Appeal, the Administrative Court, the Senior Courts Costs Office and the First-tier and Upper Tax Tribunals.
An accomplished litigator — "calm, clever and with great judgment" — he is recognised for resolving the most contentious and hard-fought disputes, bringing to them sharp attention to detail and a creative, strategic mind. He is a member of the PNLA, the London Solicitors Litigation Association and the Commercial Litigation Association.
