Jack Plummer

Biography

Jack is an Associate Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team at Curzon Green Solicitors.

Jack has specialty in acting for claimants in professional negligence claims against a wide range of professionals, including accountants, solicitors, barristers, medical experts, surveyors, and engineers. He assists with a variety of disputes from high value to those that are smaller in nature, but have significant issues of reputational, business or personal risk.

Jack’s recent experience includes:

1. Assisting with a claim against a large national firm of solicitors and a medical expert arising from their negligence in a high value personal injury claim following a serious RTA.
2. Acting for the purchasers of a leasehold flat in a negligence claim against their conveyancing solicitors for the onerous ground rent clause that led to the property being unmortgageable and unmarketable.
3. Acting for a high-net worth individual in a negligence claim against a specialised building contractor, architects and structural engineers, in relation to extensive construction works for the demolition and erection of a large residential property.
4. Acting for a company based in the British Virgin Islands in its negligence claim against a well-known firm of conveyancing solicitors for the failed purchased of several off-plan buy-to-let properties.
5. Acting for an elderly couple in a negligence claim against a reputable Auctioneer and Valuers for its handling of the sale of an extensive collection of Moorcroft pottery.
