Gemma Symons

Biography

Gemma is an Associate Solicitor in Myerson’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution department. She qualified in September 2019, and in December 2021, she obtained her Civil Higher Rights of Audience to practice as a Solicitor Advocate. Gemma joined Myerson prior to starting her training contract with the firm in 2017.

During her training contract, she gained experience in the firm’s Real Estate team, the Family team, the Wills, Trusts & Probate team and the Corporate and Commercial departments before qualifying with our Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

Gemma has experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including contract disputes, professional negligence claims, shareholder and director disputes, franchise disputes, partnership disputes, intellectual property disputes, commercial agency matters, debt recovery and insolvency matters. She also regularly appears as an advocate in the County Court and the High Court on a wide range of cases.

Gemma also speaks fluent French and assists our French-speaking clients with litigation matters.
