Biography

Claire Collinson was the Winner of the Dispute Resolution Solicitor (outside London) in the Legal 500 awards 2019. CCL is a niche firm which specializes in claims and complaints relating to professional negligence, insurance and financial services and products.
Claire's experience of professional negligence claims ranges from claims against solicitors, accountants, insurance brokers and investment advisers and includes a variety of dispute resolution methods including High Court and County Court litigation, mediation, regulatory complaints and pre-action correspondence and negotiation.
Claire has extensive experience of funding methods for claimant professional negligence work, good links with ATE insurance providers and funders and the firm operates a bespoke approach to cases to ensure that meritorious cases can be pursued in a cost effective manner.
After qualification Claire worked up to partner level at leading North East firm, Ward Hadaway before leaving to set up CCL. She has had a consistently strong track record over many years building up the practice from scratch in 2009 to achieve a national reputation in our specialist areas.
