Biography

Charlie is an experienced solicitor whose practice focuses on professional negligence disputes, regulatory investigations and regulatory compliance. He has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on the services provided by professionals to their clients. Charlie is focused on providing clear, practical advice and obtaining the very best outcome for his clients.

In private practice, he has acted for a number of lenders on professional negligence claims. He has also advised upon various regulatory matters involving banks, insurers, accountants, auditors, IFAs, investment firms, solicitors and barristers.

Charlie has worked within the litigation and regulatory teams of several global banks and previously worked within the Enforcement and Litigation Team at the Bank of England on a number of significant investigations and policy matters. He has worked on matters involving the following regulators and advised upon their specific rules and requirements:

- the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA);
- the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA);
- Lloyd’s of London;
- Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA);
- Bar Standards Board (BSB);
