Gillian Crotty

Biography

Gillian has been a partner in Shoosmiths Solicitors since June 2018 and heads up the firm's Commercial Litigation practice in Northern Ireland. Prior to joining Shoosmiths, Gillian was a partner in Wilson Nesbitt Solicitors where she had worked for 13 years.
Gillian has specialised in professional negligence actions throughout her career with a particular specialism in advising and acting on behalf of banking and financial services clients in relation to professional negligence actions in the Commercial Court.
Gillian has significant expertise in Solicitor negligence actions, particularly in relation to residential and commercial conveyancing transactions and in actions against surveyors and financial services professionals.
